Auction Rules
All dealers must hold a valid license in their home state and be registered with this auction before conducting any transactions.
ALL PUBLIC BUYERS MUST REGISTER PRIOR TO THE AUCTION AND HAVE THEIR BIDDER NUMBER VISIBLE AT ALL TIMES. A VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE IS REQUIRED TO REGISTER.
All vehicles bought and sold on auction premises must be paid through the auction office.
It is the Seller’s responsibility to correct any errors made by the auction regarding announced Conditions. It is the Buyer’s responsibility to observe the lights and listen to the announced Conditions.
Vehicles sold for $3,000.00 or less are considered AS IS and are not subject to arbitration for any reason, except for frame damage, odometer discrepancies, or salvage/rebuilt titles, unless otherwise announced.
No vehicle will be offered for sale without a valid Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) plate.
The Buyer is responsible for verifying the serial number, model year, and odometer reading, and for confirming that the odometer is functioning properly before leaving the auction.
The auction does not guarantee the year or title of travel trailers, recreational vehicles, antiques, motorcycles, boats, boat motors, or rebuilt vehicles.
Motorhomes must be sold announcing both the chassis year and the body year.
Frame damage or frame repairs must be announced under Red Light. Any frame damage or repair must be reported to the auction within seven (7) days from the date of sale.
All Outside Sales are strictly between the Buyer and the Seller. All Outside Sales are AS IS and are not subject to arbitration for any reason.
Any purchase not made Under the Hammer is considered an Outside Sale.
All vehicles must have a Paid Gate Pass before leaving the premises.
The auction is NOT RESPONSIBLE for any state taxes or ad valorem taxes.
Any gray market vehicle, kit car, or replica vehicle must have valid State of Georgia registration. All such vehicles are sold AS IS and are not subject to arbitration.
Any vehicle sold through New Calhoun Auto Auction must have a title and tag receipt. The tag receipt must match the vehicle sticker.
Any vehicle sold with a Salvage history or Salvage title must be repurchased by the Seller if that condition was not previously disclosed. Any legal matters related to Salvage vehicles or titles are strictly between the Buyer and Seller. New Calhoun Auto Auction assumes no responsibility.
Do not tamper with vehicle accessories or components such as radios, windows, sunroofs, tops, etc. Do not remove keys under any circumstances.
Payments are accepted in CASH OR CREDIT CARD. If paying by credit card, a 3.5% Buyer’s Premium will apply. Checks are accepted only with a completed and approved bank letter of authorization, issued on bank letterhead and dated the day of the auction.
ALL PURCHASES MUST BE PAID IN FULL BEFORE LEAVING THE PREMISES.
All vehicles must be removed within 30 days from the date of purchase or run date. After 30 days, the vehicle will be sold due to storage and abandonment.
Auction management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.
If you purchase a vehicle on an “IF” sale, the sale is binding until 5:00 p.m. the following day. It is the Buyer’s responsibility to verify whether the IF bid has been accepted.
